Mandatory Criteria for APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship:

There are four categories under CBSE Curricula for eligibility of scholarships are:

1. Category A: For 15% waiver on tuition fees

• Students must hold a national position under the top 10 at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM/Robotics Olympiad (or)
• Students must be either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd national prize winner in the National Science Congress competition.

2. Category B: For 12% waiver on tuition fees

• Students must hold a national rank under the top 20 at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM/Robotics Olympiad (or)
• Students must be either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd national prize winner in the National Children’s Science Congress competition (or)
• Students must be members of the winning team NSS-National Space settlement or ISRO Space Quiz.

3. Category C: For 10% waiver on tuition fees

• Students must hold a national rank under the top 30 at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM/Robotics Olympiad (or)
• Top rank holder in any national or international competitions run by IT titan such as Google/Adobe/Microsoft/Intel/Google Science Fair (or)
• Rank under top 10 at any national/regional or international level in Robot Olympiad (or)
• Students must have 2 ranking teams at NSS-National Space settlement or ISRO Space Quiz.

4. Category D: For 5% waiver on tuition fees

• Students must hold a national rank in the top 40 at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM/Robotics Olympiad (or)
• Top 20 rank holder in any national or international competitions run by IT titan such as Google/Adobe/Microsoft/Intel/Google Science Fair (or)
• Rank under top 20 at any national/regional or international level in Robot Olympiad (or)
• Students must have 3 ranking teams at NSS-National Space settlement or ISRO Space Quiz (or)
• Must have received an award for innovation at the National level or International level such as CSIR (or)
• Any regional or national level achievement at the CBSE science exhibition or National Talent Search Examination.

Disbursal Criteria for APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship:  An applicant must have few things such as: 

• UAE Resident proof with valid Emirate ID
• Any published documents, papers, or thesis on subjects related to the digital world such as coding app- making, artificial intelligence, robotics, etc.
• Invented or innovated any digital tool or gadgets.
  
  Scholarship Procedures:

1. Visit the relevant website of the school and find a scholarship application form
2. Start filling out applications and following up with all given information. These are the few essential documents you need to complete in your application are: 

• Make sure you’re uploading your all academic records in PDF format
• If an applicant accomplished something such as any publication, papers, or any technical project record, upload all the evidence of your achievements
• Make sure you’re uploading UAE residence visa copy and Emirates ID copy of student and parent both

1. After application submission, you’ll receive an email for scholarship assessment. Keep checking your emails regularly and keep yourself updated. 
2. Follow the guidelines for assessment, write an elegant and grammatically correct article for scholarship assessment.
3. Before article submission, parents must ensure they are proofreading it and checking twice.
4. Once you’re done with assessment submission, prepare yourself for your interview call and if you’ll be qualified for an interview, you’ll be called for an interview i.e. final round of assessment.
5. Within 10 days of your interview, you’ll be notified about the selection and further procedures.
6. Once you’re selected for a scholarship, you can move ahead with admission procedures and can complete your all administrative work.
